This is the third mat purchased in recent years. Hope this one holds up. All others have cracked and do not wear very good. Once they get holes you cannot move a swivel chair around on it.

MY OLD CARPET MAT (PLASTIC) GOT HOLES IN AFTER A FEW GOOD YEARS. THE NEW ONE DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE--IT TRAVELS ABOUT 4-6 INCHES EVERY SINGLE DAY AND I HAVE TO PULL IT BACK TO WHERE IT IS SUPPOSED TO STAY. TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO RETURN SO WILL HAVE TO KEEP PULLING IT INTO PLACE EVERY DAY I SET DOWN AT MY COMPUTER. NO FUN !

[...] it doesn't want to unroll. We have to be careful - since it is clear it is almost invisible (which is a good thing) but we continually trip on it. I hope over time it will lie flat

very dissapointing - wanted to protect a new carpet and i chose price over usability. piece of junk for my needs. will go find a better one soon.
