After seeing the damage done to hardwood floors without having a chairmat I wanted a chairmat as soon as my new hardwood floor was installed. This chairmat does protect my floor where my chair sits but it does slide around somewhat.

I bought this chairmat to protect my new hardwood floor in my study. After seeing the destruction that was done to my old floor without having a chairmat I knew I wanted a chairmat to cover all possible areas that my chair would roll on. The size and shape is perfect for my computer area.

Rolling chair now rolls!

Finally my chair will roll on this berber carpet without getting up and pushing it to the new location. I'm very happy with this mat.
