Be careful of the space where the chair will be used before you buy. Ours is a bit to tight because of the space. The chair itself is great.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It looks good and is functional. Finally I found something reasonably priced to save the carpet at my desk! It is a lot less expensive to replace a chair mat then a whole carpet in a room. The clear color makes the area look attractive and blends in so much better in the whole scheme of things. The variety of sizes you have available are also appreciated. Staple's internet description and pictures of this product are accurate and true to the facts. Karl Freundt

This product is under my office chair (a high backed task chair)at my computer desk on laminate flooring. It stays put and allows for some control over chair movement (i.e. chair doesn't 'take off' or slide as it does on laminate floor.)

When I move the chair the mat "walks" and after a few movements it is in a different position. Not really happy with it.

Not enough selection in stores

I wanted something thicker (stiffer) but there was very limited selection in any Staples store I went to so I settled for this one. It was the only one that would fit in my area. The thivker ones were all too large or the wrong shape. It works OK to protect the carpet but it's hard to roll the chair over it.

Horrible product

This mat is junk. It has several cracks in it and I purchased it less than a year ago. It's in an office with one person and she is as light as a feather and her chair is new so not sure why it keeps cracking. I realize this is the economy version but the price was still hefty. Very disappointed!
