Disappointed with chair mat

I've been buying these chair mats for years. They wear out in about 1 1/2 years which is not unusual. The replacement I bought about a couple of months ago immediately got a groove or "pocket" where the front wheel of my office chair rests. This didn't happen in all they years I've been buying this particular model. I am very disappointed and will pursue this with Staples.

Nice Product

This product is very nice for wood floors. You can barely tell it is there. Nice quality but I have to admit for the price it is only a piece of plastic. I guess you can get cheaper ones but not sure if they would hold up as well this is pretty heavy so I am hoping I get my monies worth out of it over the next couple years. I have also used others of these at the office and was afraid it would be real siippery this one is not when you sit down the chair does not roll across the room with you in it lol.

It arrived from the warehouse full of dust dirt etc. I wouldn't allow it in my house.

hard chair mat

for Christmas me and grandma bought our grand son a stand up easel with six baskets and a lot of markers and chalk for the white board and an erasure board on it. the mat is perfect for under the stand up easel. he is in kindergarten and he love to draw and write new words he learned that day in school. he has become much more likely to do his home work and loves doing artistic accomplishments. the mat was placed under the easel and protects out rug from any marks and dings that may occur if he drops his marker or chalk on the rug. I highly recommend this

This product sells at a discount regularly at my neighborhood Staples store so it is very affordable and serves the purpose perfectly.

Saves the carpet! (for a little while)

I have purchased this same product in the past so I was familiar with it. However I was extremely outraged that Staples almost TRIPLED the price in the past 6-8 months. The product is not high quality breaks apart in pieces easily after a few months of use and not worth the MUCH HIGHER price! It will be cheaper for me to rip up the carpet instead of paying this price ever again!!

Carpet Mat Is Great!

This is the only clear plastic carpet mat I have seen. It has ;projections on the carpet side to hold it in place as chair moved over it from desk to computer.
