We needed to replace a chair mat that is being used on a low-pile carpet in our home office. This chair mat has the "carpet teeth" on the underneath side to secure it to the carpet so it does not move when the desk chair glides over the mat. It was originally reasonably priced but when I went on-line to make the purchase for pick up at a local store there was a coupon offer for a 20% discount! Since it was not a shipable item it was ready for pick up at a local store within just a few hours of ordering.

Did not hold up under normal home use

Great price on this chair mat but it is too thin and did not hold up to normal use in a home setting. Cracked in several places now and will be replaced soon with a heavier version.

Wet and Dirty Chairmat

I couldn't believe the delivery method of my chairmat. A young man arrived late in the evening with an unpacked chairmat. It as unrolled and not in plastic or a box. I was under the assumption that UPS would deliver the chairmat. The unrolled mat was wet and dirty due to the elements outside (snow ice and rain). I wanted to return the chairmat and had no idea how. My son landed up cleaning the chairmat which took some time. I had a chat with the help line who ap[ologized. That was no help. I finally was given a phone number for cutomer service. There is no way I can carry this mat to the nearest Staples store. If this is the type of service one gets from purchasing on line at Staples this will be my last purchase.

I purchased thirty .085 mill mats from another vendor and in under 18 months I have 12 that need to be replaced. These mats are double the thickness of the originals. They were more money but if I do not have to replace them every 18 months it will be worth the investment. Thank you for included the thick of your product in the specification area. I would not purchase from anyone without knowing the weigh. The mats did come in bent from shipping but I laid them out and within a day they were flat again and ready for use.

Excellent coverage

This large rectangular mat is excellent for providing coverage behind our front counter. It is a very high traffic area with two rolling office chairs and the mat lets my assistants move easily while it protects the carpet. We chose the largest size and no "lip" because it covered the most space. The unique grippers hold the mat in place very well. Definitely a good buy!

Pulse and Minuses The Plus is it is a thicker product and I hope I get a few years before it cracks. Shipping was horrible promised Tuesday. ..No Then Wednesday...No Email and auto phone notices of delay. I was Finally able to make inquiries by calling the return shipment number. Don't call on after hours because you just get sent to a dead line. When I got someone Thursday during business hours they told me the driver tried to drop off on Wednesday at 4:45. Well I was there all day. Left the release note so I would get it dropped of Later that day. Even though I was home. No packaging and Invoice "glued" to mat. Very hard to remove as it was wet from the weather and in fact it is still on matt as it won't peel off in 1 piece. For a high pile product the nubs that hold it in place are highly inadequate. 1/8" deep and not even pointed just ¼" bars. The matt will move Very disappointed but didn't see a better option. The last one I got a few years back was thinner but at least it didn't move The nubs were dangerous as they were so sharp it just cracked after a year or so. Don't count on a convenient guarantee process when it does crack.

This mat is pretty good the one we had forever finally was breaking and we needed a new one for the office. This one fits perfect for the smaller desk. It seems to be doing pretty well.
