Cutting corners on quality

We've been buying this envelope for years and have been very happy. Just purchased a box and discovered that Staples has reduced the width of the flap by about 1/4 of an inch. This may not seem like much but it's now much more difficult to seal especially if the envelope is full since there's less paper to fold over. I'm very disappointed that Staples is cutting back on quality and not disclosing the information under the product description.

When I am doing a mailing from my home for my employer I need it to look every bit as professional as neat as if it were printed at the office. These envelopes give me that result.
