I sent my husband to buy envelopes and he came back with the perfect ones that I needed. He also told me that they were quite a bit cheaper than the ones where you peel off the strip to seal the envelope. I love a bargain so I will gladly make the big "sacrifice" and lick my envelopes. The envelopes are good and sturdy. I have had others that tore when you put a manuscript in but these work perfectly for me. Staples is my office store my printing store and my computer store -- and occasionally my furniture store. You are conveniently located for me so you know I'll be coming back. Thanks everybody!

They don't stick

I thought this envelope would work - we have the devices to glue envelope flaps quickly and easily and the adhesive did not stick well. How awkward to have to add tape to a professional package. This was very disappointing.

Wish I'd gotten the peel and seal kind.

Overall: It's exactly what you would expect from 9" x 12" envelopes that require wetting the gummy glue on the seal to close. I had to stuff and seal 40 of these in a row. They are standard envelopes. I saved $10 by buying these with the gummy stuff that you have to wet to seal but wish I'd spent more on the ones that you just pull the tape off of. It was a bit tough to see that the gummy stuff was actually sticking. I was nervous that a couple of them would come undone. Bottom line: If you have all the time in the world there is nothing wrong with these. But if you're in a rush spring for the peel and seal kind.
