If you use Scott Big Roll toilet paper these are very very similar to them. In fact you really won't notice the difference.

This toilet paper is literally paper thin. I don't think the cost savings is worth compromising on quality. It's okay as back up toilet paper to have in the house. However it is NOT the toilet paper that I would buy for my family on a regular basis.
