I should have read the label better. Definitely Septic safe but oh so ruff on the bottom. It is 1-ply that you can see through- very thin and you need a lot of it to do the clean up. Give me 2-ply and soft on the bottom. Now the dilemma - what to do with almost 19 rolls of paper left.
