I mail out 100 greeting cards for every holiday. They often require extra postage because they are thick and pop up. These envelops are strong enough to handle even the most complicated.

Excellent alternative to standard type

I mail Newsletters for a family association several times a year. The ones that are sent to Canada or overseas have to be sent in sealed envelopes. In the past I automatically bought the standard type large envelopes - the kind that open at the end. This time when I needed more envelopes for the current mailing I spotted these on the rack. They are not only easier to load than the end-opening kind but they were less expensive. (When dealing with a not-for-profit family organization; every penny counts!) From now on I will be using these side-load envelopes rather than the standard end-load types.
