Good envelopes for sorting tax papers

I mail all my tax preparation papers to my tax man. These envelopes make it easy for putting them into categories mostly in order of the information needed on final forms. By keeping track of previous year's documents I know what is late getting to me and can contact the company/person who is late. Then when everything is in order off the paperwork goes.

Adhesive not the best

The envelopes are fine but the problem is the adhesive isn't as sticky as it should be. When I received the product the first envelope adhesive lip was covered with a film that prevented it from sticking the way it should.

Partly my fault—I thought these were going to be the pull off the paper strip kind but they’re simply two layers of glue making it hard to insert things without messing up the seal and getting your hands gluey.

These are self sealing envelopes but there is no strip to allow the user to expose the sticky part of the closure. Rather the two sides are both adhesive and they will stick together if you press them although I am not sure how well the closure holds; I haven't used them long enough. But I frequently send this type of envelope to clients to sign and return papers. I am concerned that they will have trouble with these envelopes.

This are great! We can fold multiple statement/invoices in half and mail them for the same postage as a reglar envelope and not worry about them tearing open and etc. Use them all the time.

I use to buy the 9x12 envelopes and send them along with return forms however one day I just thought why a big envelope for return paperwork when it is not that much so tried these smaller ones and I will not go back to the larger ones for the purpose I use them.
