The seal on these envelopes requires tape to secure it. Envelopes have been delivered without their contents. I like the color weight size and quality of the paper used for this item but it needs a better seal to truly be called "self-sealing".

Not good to be handled or printed on.They seal up if they get stacked the need to be pryed apart.This destroys the envelope.

Had to tape these so-called self seal envelopes - 100's of envelopes with important publication. very disappointed in the quality. Staples should have tested these better.

Glue is very sloppy. Poured over to the front of the next envelope causing them to stick together. I won't buy this from Staples again.

I thought these were the envelopes with the pull-off strip...instead they are gummed and the flap hangs open so it won't fit in the same space as the strip one. It doesn't stick very securely so I add a couple pieces of tape to keep it closed.
