I ordered Avery tent cards to use as place cards at my daughter‘s wedding dinner. Avery’s template software made it easy to add a graphic to apply to all of the cards, then add individual names to each card and print them. They turned out beautifully.

Please make templates for InDesign or Illustrator!

I downloaded the template for Word to use on my Mac. I need to make place cards for 500 people. The template does not allow tabbing from card to card, so flowing names from Excel will not work so I would need to copy and paste each one; it does not allow inserting additional pages (the online forum hints for doing that don't work), so I would have to create 125 individual documents to complete this task. It also does not have the name on the back side of the tent upside down so that it would be correct when folded, so two sided table tents are also out of the question. I can't save as a pdf to insert into a design program, since the pdf comes out blank. My only recourse is to make a screen shot of the template and place as a background in InDesign. Those who are on a PC may have more luck with the Avery toolbar, but if you are on a Mac and want to create a file for a client to print out on the Avery product, be prepared for frustration.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I plan my firm's Christmas party and I've used these for our assigned seating the past two years. They're great because not only do I put the guest's name and table number, I include their meal choice too, which makes it easier for the servers! I add holiday clip-art and a border and they look so festive!

These small tent cards have come in handy for me on many occasions, including labeling hors d'oeuvres on a buffet table for a wedding reception, creating tags for gift baskets and cards on a pick for flower arrangements/plants given as gifts. These small tent cards rock!

Love these small tent cards for making "shelf talkers" for retail. Half sits under the product, the other half announces the sale. The paper holds a brilliant color and card stays stiff.

Absolutely love the small tent cards for making vendor sales table signs in my Indepedent Miche rep business. Easy to use the product and print for easy change out of show specials. Ability to customize with pictures is wonderful! This product holds up very well and you can print on BOTH sides so there is no right or wrong side. I can print out various specials on the tent cards and change out if needed during the show. Another great use is to use them as frequent purchase cards that keeps my customers coming back! Print on the inside a punch area that I initial and after 10 purchase they get 1/2 off on the item. On the other side, I put room for them to right the name of the shells that they have purchased. On the back side I leave this for their wish list items. Helps my customers stay organized and come back to me -- all in one easy to store and reference for my customers! Thank you Avery for this wonderful product!
