Great just got greater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging tape is certainly one of those items in which you don't want to compromise. Scotch has been my go-to for years and the addition of the Box Lock packaging tape to the lineup is very welcome. I've used competitor products in the past and they seem to adhere to a package initially, but slowly release over a short period of time for a wide variety of reasons. I have yet to be disappointed with this packaging tape, however. The tape is easy to apply, it does exactly what it says it will do, and I look forward to using it for my packaging needs with satisfied results in the future. Scotch packaging tape has always been great and it just got even better. Don't skimp and save a few pennies, as it will simply end up costing you more in the long-term since you'll need to use twice or three times as much with inferior results.

Great heavy duty tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great! I ship packages regularly and it seems like I’m always buying tape. This is perfect for the majority of my small to large sized boxes. I would appreciate a wider version being made for when I’m shipping (or storing something) in an extra large box. But that’s not due to quality of the product; it’s more of a personal preference (and an idea for the product development department). In full disclosure, I did receive this as a free sample to evaluate from 3M.

Holds tight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this asa a sample and have put it to good use. The tape sticks very well to all the boxes I have had to seal up and even some plastic bags I needed to seal shut. This tape works great. The cutter works well and have not had any issues.

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free to evaluate. I tried to find the best way to test the claims for this tape, and eventually decided on using it to tape an everyday cardboard box shut, after it had been thoroughly soaked with water.
After I drenched the box, I let it dry enough to be able to keep it's shape when trying to tape it shut. As expected, the tape had a difficult time sticking to the box, but after a few rubs back and forth, it took hold, and actually stayed. I expected it to slowly peel away from the box, but once it took hold, it stayed adhered to the box.

Secure and makes no noise

Happy with the quality and it does keep boxes closed securely. I'm glad they figured out how to dispense the tape without making that loud noise. Will definitely be buying this in the stores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had the fortunate opportunity to try out the Scotch® Box Lock™ Packaging Tape right when I was moving into a new apartment, I was very surprised and quite pleased by how well this tape works on packing boxes! It sticks securely and quickly without the need to press the tape down after or make multiple passes of tape on the box. You can feel by the thickness of the tape how strong it is and I was not disappointed. One strip of tape was considerably stronger than even three strips of the standard stuff. 10 out of 10, I will never use a different, sub-par packing tape again!
