The envelope is nice but the glue doesn't hold well. Maybe if you just had a couple sheets of paper in it it would work better. But I do use bulky items.

We use these for filing - would have to put an extra piece of tape on them if I was using them for mailing just to be sure it wasn't going to come open

GLUE TO SEAL THE ENVELOP DOES NOT HOLD. I HAVE TO USE TAPE TO RE-ENFORCE THE EDGE.

I returned these envelopes. The adhesive strip is inadequate and set too far from the edge of the flap to actually hold the envelope closed. But Staples quickly refunded my order. Kudos on customer service.
