These work so well with my postage machine because I don't have to use postage strips because the envelopes are white.

I was recently completely out of the 9" x 12" brown clip closing style mailing envelopes that I normally use. So I drove to my nearest Staples' store. They had plenty of the Staples 9" x 12" White Wove Easyclose Catalog envelopes in stock so I purchased one box of one-hundred. The white color looks much better to me then the traditional brown envelopes. However I discovered that the inside mailing contents could be read if one really looked closely. They could solve this problem by using heaver duty envelope paper. The peel and seal feature is just great! No more licking or taping the envelope closed for me.

OPENS TOO EASILY

The envelopes were exactly what I was looking for. However I found that after sealing a few when I went to retrieve them for mailing that they had started to open. It was not that they were over full just a small amount of pages. I ended up placing a label with the company logo on each one to assure they stayed sealed when mailed. I do not know if it was just the lot I bought or this is a common occurrence it is the first time that I purchased them. I am generally pleased wit h Staples products so I will purchase them again. Even if I need to place a label to assure they stay closed they really are nice envelopes.

Great price not so great adhesive

The envelopes are the perfect size however when mailing it is necessary to add tape to the back becasue the adhesive does not stick completely.

Gets the job done

I've had problems with these envelopes not staying glued at the seam. I've also come across some that done seal properly... they are either too sticky and stick to everything they come in contact with or have about as much stickiness as a potato chip. These envelopes were made well and did not come undone at any end or at the joining seam (that runs down the middle). The seal was a good amout of sticky as well... did not stick to my fingers and did not make me feel the need to use tape as well. Well done Staples!

These envelopes worked well for the mailing I was sending out to local high schools. On a side not I would caution other Staples Reward Card users to use you points as quickly as you can!! I purchased a new laptop and other items... I did not know and was not told that points expire... still don't know how long they where good for... I purchased my laptop less than a year ago and they are gone.... so much for getting part of the rewards for using their reward card! I did receive the rebate I had coming but not the points for use.
