I use them because they are nice white envelopes. but the adhesive is not adequate. We have to put tape over the seal always. This is an obvious defect that should be apparent to Staples. Look at a box and you will see the adhesive is deteriorated and won't stick properly. Jim Toms

While I like the quantity of 100 to a box for the price the quality of the (thin) envelope is what I dislike. The envelope is too thin to hold heavy mail or to be reused or stored. It's great for everyday mailing photographs or documents. If it's for something very important or heavyweight do not use this envelope. It will fall apart or the corners will wear out I have other 9x12 white envelopes from another store that I use for certain people or particular documents. When the customer questions "Can I trust you to handle my documents in the mail?" Of course you can!
