I buy a new one every year so I can file the previous year alphabetical. I used to reuse the file each year but it's so much easier to go back and find what I need while it's in the file. It seems I need to go back and look something up each year after I've changed years.

It is a simple filing tool but it works well for us. We put our vendor bills in alpha order and can easily access them when we write checks. And we get about 75 different bills every month.
