Inexpensive and quality to match

A goo price (although $6 more in the store) but it's obvious they cut corners to make the price point. Only 24# paper which is just barely heavy enough for an envelope the flap is only 1 1/8" wide down from 1 3/4" on other envelopes. Skimped on the glue too - a half inch wide strip with a gap in the middle. And they skimped on the size too not 6" wide but 5 15/16" wide. I'd rather pay a little more for an envelope more like what they made in the old days. Price isn't everything. You know you get what you pay for but in this case you don't get much.
I make my own Christmas and greeting cards using card stock and adding my own photos and texts to fit the occasions. These envelopes are the perfect size for one 8.5x11 sheet of paper that is folded in half for a card. The cards slip in easily the flap seals easily and the whole thing costs only a single stamp to mail. I can even print something on the envelope in the form of a small picture or design to personalize it. I have received numerous positive comments from family and friends. Great product!
I only bought this produce because you did not carry the "Pull and Seal" type! I'll look for another store that carry this type of envelop. In the future.
I have started making my own greeting cards since the ones in the stores often do not quite convey what messages I would like to send. I make them out of 65lb card stock 8.5"x11" which I fold in half. So I need envelopes for them envelopes that fit the 5.5"x8.5 size that my cards now have. These 6x9 envelopes do the trick perfectly. The cards slip in and out easily and I can also enclose my annual Christmas letters to boot. The envelope enclosing one card and one letter only requires a single stamp. Great product!
