I am pleased that I have been able for a long period of time to purchase these envelopes from Staples and have them delivered to my home. I use one box per month to mail our non-profit newsletter to our membership. They are the max size allowed by the USPS for standard mail. My only concern is the very rapid increase in price on this product when standard copy paper has not increased. Even our printing cost and color copy charges have not increased in the past three years. We do save however with frequent discounts and free shipping from Staples.

These envelopes are ideal for mailing out my annual membership books and also for other mailings throughout the year to my 100+ members of a non-profit organization. They keep the documents secure and always arrive in good condition to the recipients. My members have remarked on how they like getting mail this way - not folded many times and stuffed into smaller envelopes. I instituted this process when I took over the non-paying job of secretary-treasurer - and it has been so very much appreciated by my membership. Thank you for a great product.

Inferior Product

The strip of adhesive that you need to wet to make the flap stick to the envelope is interrupted in the middle. This allows flap to separate from the envelope possibly causing flap to catch on something and open. One must tape it shut to avoid problems. This was obviously an attempt to cost their production costs; but it makes for an inferior product. The envelope paper is also very thin.

It is nice that the envelope is white but it would be nice if it was equipped with self adhesive strip. I hate to lick envelopes.

Great Pattern Envelopes

These envelopes are the perfect size for sewing patterns. I use them to market my own designs which I sell on various websites. Also use them in my studio when pattern envelopes deteriorate. These hold up extremely well.
