They are the proper size I needed was glad to find them. But when I put one through my printer was surprised what came out. Ink was smeared printing looked "thick" not normal as it should. Thought it was a fluke repeated the process three more times. All came out the same looking like the name and address was put on there with a thick black laundry marker. I had printed other items a short while before no problems and printed two regular #10 envelopes directly after no problems. My only conclusion the heaviness/composition of the booklet envelope paper.

The Perfect Envelope for cards and books

I like to make my own little books of poetry. These brightly colored envelopes are the perfect size for a folded 8-1/2"x11" sheet -- and the envelope will accommodate a booklet of more than a few pages which is great because I like the 28 pound paper. I also like the colors because they really stand out; the colors are very clean and strong and there's no bleeding when I use markers to write the address.
