Really wanted pastel ones but these worked out OK. No pastels at the store.

These are multiple colors which isn't too terrible but I wanted white which can only be bought in boxes of 100 or more. They are supposed to fit a normal sized 11 X 8.5 sheet of paper but it barely fits and the envelope is not thick enough to hold 2 sheets. I'm returning it.

These envelopes are good quality paper and they seal well. We use them for our oversize homemade holiday cards.

Bright but wish I had another choice

I needed envelopes to send my son's graduation announcments which were 5"x 8" cards. The only choices I had at Staples were Brights or Pastels envelopes. An environmentally friendly choice (recycled paper or recyclable) would have been great especially since my son's degree is in Enviromental Science.

Staples Brights Greeting Card Envelopes/

I always give these bright envelopes to a great friend for his birthday. He creates beautiful cards on the internet. Then he gives them to friends shut-ins people in hospital etc. I also give him matching card stock to use. He always looks forward to his birthday and Christmas because he knows I will give him these gifts. The cards and envelopes are made of quality paper which is appreciated. Once in awhile he will get the white or cream colored ones for special occasions. ..
