This mat may work well when placed on a hard floor. I am using it on a low pile carpet and the casters on my desk chair sink into this very soft mat to the point where my chair is difficult to move.

I did not realize this floor Mat did not have any rubber grips . You would think if it says hard floor matter it would . This can be very dangerous if you do not use some type of double stick tape .

Great for a quick home office set up for remote work. At this price point it's not thick enough to handle hours of chair activity without movement so chair wheel indentions are expected.

It is a very stiff shiny but not rigid plastic. It was not wrinkled and immediately lay flat. Does not give off any odour. Does everything you would hope a chair mat would. I strongly recommend it.
