I bought a Staples carpet chair mat five years ago it had some cracks in it and became no longer usable so I am much satisfied now with my new mat and recent new chair I send a lot of time on my computer work station at home

This item was described as appropriate for pile carpet meaning it won't slide or move easily such as when you.move a chair. That's not the case. I also have divots in the surface making it more difficult to move while in a wheeled office chair. I'll have to buy a new one when I can go into the store & examine it myself.
