This product was too thin. The chair made indents which kept the chair from rolling on it .I do not recommend it.

When you put 5 wheels with 200lbs of weight on plastic you’re going to see impressions. All of the negative reviews on this made me concerned but I noticed most mats had similar complaints so I just went with the cheapest. Yes this mat shows impressions after sitting in your chair but they aren’t permanent. It’s similar to a hand impression in memory foam it eventually goes away. I have medium-height carpet (not thin pile but not thick) and this mat has been working fine. I wish I would have purchased a mat that was a little deeper and wider. My wheels seem to roll off the sides quite a bit. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise the price and quality seem right.

My desk chair glides effortlessly over the mat. This has made my experience working at my desk considerably more pleasant. I most certainly would recommend this product.

My old mat retired the impressions of the coasters for many hours. The physical size of the new mat was much larger than the replaced mat so maneuvering the chair was not limited.

This mat is thinner than I expected. I was by no means misled. I only assumed a carpet mat would be of a thicker material. My chair settles down into the carpet on top of the mat making it difficult to move around.
