Worst mat ever purchased.

I was totally disatisfied with the mat. The wheels of the chair sank into it with my weight of 145 pounds. I can imagine what would happen if a larger person were using it. The quality was very thin. I returned it the very next day.

I probably should have purchased a thickness for a lower pile carpet. The coasters on my chair make indentions in the mat.

Too Early to Really Tell for Sure

I purchased this mat for use on Berber carpet. I guess long gone are the days when one could buy a nice thick virtually indestructible chair mat for $50 or so and the last mat I had in that price range cracked up after only a few years under a 120 lb. user. Its size in nice and it obviously won't slide. My chair rolls fairly easily on the mat. Soon after receiving the mat though I realized that my chair casters had already made indentations. So I went looking some more and found chair casters that are slightly softer and wider than hard plastic casters on the recommendation of a Staples CSR who recommended these casters as a solution to prevent mat cracking. So I shelled out about another [$]for these new casters for a total of almost $160 for a mat and casters combined tax included. I hope to return later and revise this review after seeing how this mat performs with these casters which I hope will be more than adequate given the amount of money I've spent. The indentations that my old casters made may be permanent however even though I used the hard casters for only a very short period of time on the new mat.
