Sinks into the Carpet

Even though this chair mat is designated as being for plush carpeted floors up to 3/4" thick the chair rollers sink into the carpet making it hard to roll the chair around. Stuck in a rut. At least I expect it to protect the carpet. I would have gotten the thickest one availabled but it's too large for the area.

This fits well under my smaller desk. If my chair rolls off it it is easy to get back on it. I like its flexibility.

This was marketed for 3/4" carpeting and has permanent indents which restrict rolling the office chair. Do not buy this for padded carpet.
