Cheap plastic items from China aren't cheap anymore. That said for the money this mat will protect my floor from a rolling chair. I had hoped it would be a bit thicker but I think it will serve.

I bought this for my home office. I was surprised that it was not very thick. I am concerned that this will crack in very little time. But we will see how long this will last...

floor mats are saving my carpets

So far so good but I think I would have preferred a heavier duty product. The mats are solving my problem - I no longer get my chair stuck on the carpet and my carpet is free of the dents and abuse my chair caused. I hope the mats can stand up to the wear and tear over the years. I did know I was getting an economical mat - it fit the budget and was the right size for the job.
