can't seem to keep it in one place. I have new carpet and purchased this to keep my carpet from being ruined I find myself moving this everyday. My older one never moved.

This is used at my mother' house in her carpeted office. It keeps the chair wheels from imbedding into the carpet fibers and leaving marks.

They do not hold up[ very well. The one I replaced only lasted a bit over a year and then it began to crack up/ I was not able to find the better quality one.

I had hoped from reading the description that the mat would make it much easier to roll my desk chair. Instead it made it a little easier. Maybe the pile on my carpet is thicker than I judged. Still it is easier.
