Staples® Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip

This mat is just what I needed for my home office. It protects the carpet and make it easy to roll the chair back and forth as needed when I work. Great durability nice smooth surface. The clear plastic allows the carpet color to show through making it more like the mat is really not there. The teeth on the backside of the mat keep the mat from moving with the chair movements. They hold it in place so you don't need to keep adjusting it back in place. Smooth top makes it easy to clean and easy to roll chair on. Perfect for my needs.

no more holes

I bought the mat because i was using a fold-up chair that was making "holes" in the carpet. I bought an "office" chair at the same time and they're both working out great. Now I can roll back instead of trying to work my way around the stationary chair. Happy Happy. Now I'm in a comfortable chair and on a mat that looks and works great.

Highly recommended. The clear Chair Mat allows easy maneuverability in front of your computer whilr not changing the overall look of the room! In turn it also saves the rug from the wear and tear of the wheels forcing their way thru the pile of the carpet!

Great Chair Mat

Was very satisfied with my purchase of this chair mat. It is for a hard floor but I put it on Berber carpet and it is working very well. I didn't want the other type of floor mat because I felt the grippers on the bottom would damage my carpet. Definitely serves the purpose that I bought it for.

Product OK but not exactly as desired

I purchased this floor mat to replace one that I had had only for a couple of years - also purchased from Staples. I needed a rectangular mat with NO lips - need to face cradenza and desk. Only such mat available was sold folded. That is what I had previously and the folded mat separated on the fold. The old map was fine except it is too week where folded. I really wanted the same size and a simple rectangle but NOT folded. Other than that the new mat is serving its purpose while not the best to handle facting both ways.

Came rolled up and thought it would be a little bigger. Having a hard time getting it to lay flat. We would not buy another one like it.

Our home office carpet chair mat was about seven years old and needed replacing. ( We purchased it at Staples). Based on that good service we decided to shop at Staples again for a replacement. Fortunately the local store had a good selection of sizes and types and we were able to buy one that was a perfect fit for our small office space. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the product and was able to guide us to the right fit for our needs. We expect that our new mat will have the quality to last at least as long as the one it is replacing.
