This chair mat is fine good size and seems to be holing up fine with my chair and carpet. Would have gone with high pile if I was to do it again. Complaint or warning for you was around the condition of the two mats I received from ordering it online. They came rolled and bound with tape. They were dirty and damaged. You could not see how bad the dirt was on it until you wipe it down. I unfortunately laid it out on light carpet before I saw how bad it was. It left gray marks everywhere it touched. I wiped it down both top and bottom and it turned my rags black. Crazy how dirty it was. Second the delivery guys must have dragged the rolls around since both had scrapped up edges. With all this said I would not do a Staples deliver for this item again.

What can I say? Most chair mats are plastic and as such off-gas and become brittle and crack over time. I do not expect this mat to be any different. When it is new it provides a good surface for a wheeled office chair over a carpeted surface. After some time it becomes more brittle and starts to crack. Then there is little choice but to replace the chair mat. This mat does not appear to be any different.

A simple but solid product

This chair mat is a definite step up from the one that I purchased 3 years ago. The mat gets heavy use in our home office and the last one cracked a broke after a few years. This one appears to be both more flexible and thicker than the previous one. I like this one already...check back with me in 3-4 years.
