These chair matts are to thin. They indent where the wheels of the chair sit and make it difficult to roll the chair.

RUINED MY SOLID WOOD FLOORS

Bought this from my local staples a few years ago to protect my solid bamboo floor from my office chair (as advertised). It has caused a dark residue to form between the wood and the mat and effectively stripped the finish from the wood. The residue smells heavily of the plastic chemical that has been present on the mat since new. It also creeps around with any chair movement. It doesn't deserve a single star as it ruins wood floors instead of protecting them.

Although this mat works like it should & serves its purpose. the packing tape that the store chose to roll it up with for shipping -- created a sticky mess that will take me hours to remove with goo gone or some other substance. Would have been better if I bought it directly at the store instead of having it delivered.
