Have bought these from Staples for the last 8 years. Works great and at a good price. Will continue to buy these again from Staples. Tried other brands but these are at a better price and do the job just as well.

Staples Washable Glue Sticks

I purchased 4 packs for use in our library and at a nursing home where I volunteer. I took one pack to the nursing home to make Valentines and half of the glue sticks were all dried up. They were completely unusable. We managed to get a few working for them. Fortunately most of the things we had were peel and stick. I took all of them back (with my receipt) and got a refund on the cash I had paid and credit on 2 out of 3 where I had used Staples point money. They said that the third one was nonrefundable even though the product was faulty. For obvious reasons I will not be purchasing the Staples brand glue sticks again. I have always been pleased with Staples products but this one really missed the boat.

I love the glue sticks. I find them especially useful for gluing envelopes. I hate having to lick them. They are nice to have in each car and very handy to have in your purse. They are easy to use. I highly recommend them.

They Stick Like Glue

Great glue sticks. Great size. The bigger ones always seems to dry out over time and I throw away a lot of hard glue. Not so with these. Also like that the glue is washable so I can avoid the sticky desk syndrome. Highly recommend.

Very dissatisfied! I think the ingredients have been changed or something. I do a lot of scrapbooking and photo albums and so I use a LOT of glue sticks. I have always used the Staples brand because they are just as good as the higher-priced name brands; however this last purchase was very disappointing - the adhesive seems weaker than usual and does not bond well with the card stock and photo paper. After applying the glue to the photo and placing it on the cardstock I needed to place a phone book on top to make the picture adhere properly. I will try one more purchase of Staples brand glue sticks and hope I have better results.
