Staples glue sticks stick paper together and work far better than the Elmer brand glue sticks. But those of us with children know how fast they run through these glue sticks. Teachers request 50 000 per classroom. Requests come in for more by December. Obviously they are eating them. Old timers remember eating paste glue. The next generation used the bottle glue to make stick-on fingernails and fingerprints. But kids today prefer individually packaged snacks. These are the perfect size! Purple is a fun color and indicates freshness. Stock up during the back to school sales because you’ll pay full price come December!
I bought these glue sticks for my grandchildren. I prefer the purple glue sticks because it is easier to see where glue has been applied and then it dries clear.
Good for almost any project. I used it to put magazine pictures of the country I am traveling to into a journal. They help bring back my memories of that city or village The glue was not too gooey and if some got on my hands or even the edge of the journal page it washed off very easily with just water.
I purchased this to seal approx 150 envelopes. Many recipients said that their envelopes arrived wide open. The contents of one even fell out in the mail.
