The nice thing about the purple is that you know where the glue is. Helps position items to be glued more accurately. Then the purple fades and the project looks great!

Great for Crafts

These glue sticks are great for doing crafts around the house with the kids. Easy enough for little hands to use without making a big mess. Less cleanup and bother. Also great for everyday needs when you just need a little dab of glue here or there. No need to worry about the runny mess of liquid glue. Just recap and put away until you need them again. I always try to have at least two or three glue sticks around the house at all times. Great product.

You Can't stand the Truth

These are absolutely the best glue sticks I have ever purchased. As a long-time user of glue sticks I KNOW quality when I see it and these glue sticks are the finest best-sticking glue available. From my research only the most expensive ingredients go into the Staples Washable glue sticks - things such as Shea Butter Cashmere extract and other rare imported stuff...all combined with deionized purified water under the most stringent laboratory standards then hermetically injected into the glue stick holders under tremendous pressure and heat. They are then left in temperatures barely above freezing for a MINIMUM of 9 months in aged oaken casks...only then are they examined by highly-trained glue scientists who must individually approve each Staples washable glue stick before it may be packaged and sold. Such quality doesn't come cheap I assure you. IF you prize being able to glue stuff nearly any kind of stuff then select this glue stick...you can't go wrong.

excess packaging for small amount of glu

We like to have reliable source of easy to apply glue available for home and business purposes. This product had too little glue for amount of package - went on skimpily and now need to store 4 sticks until all used.

I would buy this product again and again

I mainly use it to seal envelopes especially the corners where there's no glue. Also make my own envelopes from paper with different designs. What I really like about this glue stick is it glides very easily without being sticky like some others.
