I have used these glue sticks and keep one in my brief case at all times. I ofter attach a memo or note to papers and these glue sticks are the best. Wouldn't be with out one...
I find one cannot say a whole lot about glue sticks but these from Staples own brand work as well as any glue sticks I've tried. One thing even with the lids on they tend to dry out and gum up even if left in an unsunny spot. Don't buy more than you can use in a reasonable time. I very much like the fact that they are colored (purple) as one can see where the glue is going and then it disappears.
I purchased these for a 'Backpack Project' my church does each year where members chose a child's name and purchase a pack and supplies for underprivileged children. I was only going to buy a couple sticks but the value of the 4-pack was to good to pass up. I am a secondary science teacher and know the value of a good glue stick! Teachers frequently ask students to supply and carry their own glue sticks with them and I have observed that the Staples brand sticks outlast the Elmers brand. Teachers frequently have the students keep 'interactive notebooks' where instead of a 3 ring binder or folders the students glue every handout into a notebook. We go through a lot of glue and these sticks are the best!
