Glue worked ok; top of tube very hard to remove needed to use pliers & vice grip*; not a happy camper................. *All four were this hard to open!!!

These glue sticks are easy to use with much less mess. No wet paper effects (of liquid glues). I haven't felt the need for the purple color variant which I have tried earlier.
