The envelopes are a necessity for our business. We have alot of mailings throughout the year. What I have noticed is that the paper seems to have thinned out over the last few years. Perhaps it is because the company is using recylced paper(which I agree with) or perhaps to save money. Regardless I have had to start putting a blank page over the top sheet so that personal information is not easily seen through the envelopes. Adding one extra sheet sometimes makes the difference in mailing weight (an extra .21 cents)and the waste of paper 500 sheets equal one ream of paper $5.99ish on sale. This adds to alot of money at the end of the year. I will continue to use the envelopes but each mailing is reviewed for privacy.

What can I tell you... it's an oversize (10" x 13") clasp manila envelope... nothing more and nothing less. It's not exactly heavyweight but it's certainly adequate. The shelf price (regular not on sale) seemed appropriate and reasonable and I needed an envelope the same day for an important project so I bought the smallest quantity available -- the 12 pack. It is always a good idea to have a few extra around the home and/or office. You should be satisfied with the product and probably can't do much better price-wise. Go for it!!
