I wanted an envelope to put last year's tax papers in. Unfortunately 10 X 13" is NOT big enough. You had a gargantuan box of the next bigger size but I didn't need beyond-a-lifetime-supply. I'm sure 10X13 will work for single to a few pieces of paper but I have more to enclose.

I have found these envelopes can be used in a variety of ways they are multi-purpose. They are very inexpensive and they can be reusable.They can be used for mailings of many items whatever fits in it books paperwork gift items thats what i used one for to send my daughter's birthday present. Using these envelopes is less expensive than the post offices envelopes.S0 I am pleased with this purchase and because it was on sale makes this purchase even more satisfying. thank you!!

Nothing special but certainly OK

What can I tell you... it's an oversize (10" x 13") clasp manila envelope... nothing more and nothing less. It's not exactly heavyweight but it's certainly adequate. The shelf price (regular not on sale) seemed appropriate and reasonable and I needed an envelope the same day for an important project so I bought the smallest quantity available -- the 12 pack. It is always a good idea to have a few extra around the home and/or office. You should be satisfied with the product and probably can't do much better price-wise. Go for it!!

Superior Brown Kraft Envelopes

I really do like these Staples Brand Brown Kraft Clasp Envelopes. They are lightweight but strong. Was perfect for my mailing project. I always reach for Staples Brand because they are Superior not just less expensive which is usually the case.

Clasp fell off

I bought these for mailing purposes and the first time I used one I tried to close the clasp but I broke off in my fingers when I pried it up from the flat position. I was disappointed because I will need to carry tape with me whenever I go to the post office from now on.
