Laser print on envelopes flakes off

Bought these envelopes to send tax documents. The addresses return address and postage flaked off the envlelopes after printing by a good quality HP laser printer. Never had this happen with other brand envelopes in over 30 years. The flaking was so bad that it was obvious the US Post Office would not be able to process them with their automated scanning equipment. The only way they could be used for mail is to use labels to stick them on and affix a stamp for postage. Totally unacceptable for envelopes costing 35 cents per envelope. Do not buy for mailings where envelope printing is required!

Staples Easy Close Envelopes

The box of envelopes I purchased do not seal.Upon removing the tape and pressing the seal down across the envelope the envelope reopens by itself. I have to place scotch tape on the envelopes to seal it. The envelopes are a poorly made product.

They are very easy closing but don't stay closed. The glue has no stick to it. I had to tape all of the envelopes closed to be sure they were delivered intact.
