Every month I bring a newsletter to Staples for Printing for a club I belong to. They are averaging sixteen pages and have always used standard letter envelopes to mail them. Last month the post office suggested they would mail better in a larger envelope. I purchased the above ones and it was easier to stuff them and made a neater package. I will continue to use these from now on.

Exactly the size I need and grateful for the larger box (more economical)

They are basic envelopes and serve the purpose. Nothing fancy no privacy lining or heavy stock.

This year I used these 6x9 white envelopes to hold our 8.5x11 Christmas letter. One fold down the middle: perfect fit. Plus 5x7 photos easily can be added. Reasonably strong: 28-lbs—better than the slightly smaller “greeting-card envelopes” I was also considering but which were made of only 24-lb paper. Finally I also liked the easy-removal paper strip over the adhesive flap. Only one small complaint: the adhesive needs to come closer to the edge of the flap so the corners lie perfectly flat. Other than that the envelope works well.
