These envelopes are great to keep on hand for all kinds of needs. I make greeting cards and they will fit 4x6 or 5x7 photos with a "mat" made out of card stock that is 4 12 " x 6 1/2" inch to 6" x 8". Posting only required one regular stamp. It is great to not have to lick a batch of envelopes! You also don't have to worry about paper cuts to the mouth! These envelopes do not have a security function but they are not described as being security envelopes. They are a great size as the size has proven to be most versatile.

I make over one hundred Christmas cards and the fact of self sealing envelopes saves me moistening that many envelopes as well as being a perfect fit for a folded 8 1/2 x 11 card stock from which I make the cards.
