I have used this size envelope for my holiday letters for years. Large enough to hold half sheet of paper and large photo of the family. Self stick is nice also

Saves postage when sending business letters and attachments that make you utilize a large envelope or a normal business envelope....that are 3 x the postage price due to size & thickness. Just fold a normal 8-1/2 x 11 letter in half and it fits.at standard rate.

These envelopes worked perfectly the homemade cards that the wife makes every Christmas fit to-a-tea. Of course the other feature that was surely appreciated was the pre-glued closure that saved a lot of time..
