They are okay. I prefer envelopes made of genuine paper but this will do. The material seems to have some type of finish making it a bit difficult to use with real ink pens. I would not recommend it for use with fountain pens other types yes.

Easy to close greeting card envelope. Can write with just about any pen. I wrote on the envelope with sharpie and the ink did not bleed through.
