Opened the first envelope flap side up to place a half fold card in it and the entire left side of the envelope was glued shut. You could get a smaller card size in the envelop but not the size it was designed for. Each and every envelope in the purchased box is sealed shut. You're able to use a letter opener and with pressure separate the envelope's front and back without tearing it however your expectation is to stuff the envelope with no additional effort. Very disappointed and unfortunately I kept them in inventory too long to return them. I will be checking every envelope before I purchase another box of 100 ha;f fold card envelopes!

Quality envelopes

I used these envelopes for mailing homemade Christmas cards to friends and family. The paper used for the envelope was of a high quality and it was strong since it was 24 lb. paper. The fact that I didn't need to lick the envelopes because of the peel and stick closure was an extra added benefit.

I make my own greeting cards and this product is perfect for my use. Easy to handle and always sealed. I am disabled and they are very easy for me to handle.
