It's accurate but you have to pay attention. The crucial matter is the extra half inch for both the length and width. It makes the envelope just large enough to accommodate the standard 6"x9" offprint or pamphlet.

Unlike the standard 6x9 size that is the standard for all other kinds of mailers you can actually mail something that is 6x9 inches using this envelope. Since 6x9 is a pretty standard trim size for books most 6x9 mailers are useless to me. the extra half inch each way is awesome.
