I USE THIS ENVELOPE TO MAIL NUMEROUS ITEMS THAT WON'T FIT IN A #10 ENVELOPE. IT HOLDS UP TO TOUGH HANDLING AND IS VERY CONVENIENT TO USE.

Perfect for mailing CD's 0r DVD's

Mailing used DVD's with thin cardboard reinforcement. This is the most cost effective and secure method of mailing 1 or 2 DVD's.

Large mailing envelopes

I have found that the large 6x9 and larger clasp envelopes sold at Staples are just the right size for my mailings. The price is fair and the weight is fine for postage rates.

I am a little disappointed with Staples

The USPS changed the classification of letters and large envelope rates a few years ago. Staples sells a 6x9 and 6 1/2 x9 1/2 kraft envelope. Staples should have a note or label on the packaging that tells the consumer which qualifies for the letter rate. Naturally I bought the 6 1/2 for the extra space and it DOES NOT qualify for the letter rate. I paid a higher price for these envelopes that are smaller than the other much larger envelopes that require the same postage rate.
