Carpet Chair Mat w/lip

Unfortunately the lip width was too wide on one mat and the overall width was too narrow on another mat. It was necessary to return theses units for credit card credits. With the helpful efforts of the stores staff including the General Manager this transaction was completed with efficiency. Although this transaction didn't work out I would like you to know this store and it's proximity to Sun City will remain my first choice for merchandise you carrier.

Dents fairly easy. Have to make sure wheels don't land in the same space or you have to roll out of the dent. These mats will never be as firm as a floor so it works well enough.

Just Okay

The first mat I bought was delivered with large scuff marks in several places and looked like it had been dragged across a gravel road. I called customer service and asked for it to be picked up and returned. When the second one arrived it was also not wrapped in anything (both were not wrapped) and had a few little marks on one end. I decided to accept that one. If I hadn't seen the delivery man bring it to the front porch I would not have had the first one picked up as I had to tell him he was supposed to take that one with him. I had an envelope with "Staples" plainly on it. Both mats each were delivered with a very large very sticky shipping label on them which was difficult to pull off but they did come off in one piece each. As far as the mat is concerned it is okay but the office chair sinks into "holes which form just by sitting on it in an office chair. That makes it difficult to move the chair around while in it. The carpet is new and not a thick carpet so combined with the padding under the carpet this mat just doesn't meet my expectations. I am keeping it as I need a mat over the new carpet. I did get a partial refund for the first mat I returned. Staples customer service has been great to work with and that I appreciate.

Great chair mat!

Works really well. Chair wheels roll easily and mat is stiff enough so that the wheels do not sink into the carpet.

The plastic mat does not do what is made to do. The mat is in the den on an area rug with a office style chair. The plastic mat slides all the time as the chair moves. Very disappointed. Does Staples have a different and better plastic mat?

Wish it were thicker or stiffer

This chair mat seems good quality but the 5 wheels of my office chair sink into the mat and the pile of my rug is not that deep which is why I said I wish it were thicker or stiffer. It does seem to stay in place well. I would probably buy it again as the price was reasonable and it just takes a little extra push if I've been in the same place for a while.
