We got this particular chair mat because of its thickness. It was delivered when you stated ready to use. At this point one week later we are very pleased with it and trust that it will last longer than our previous chair mat.

the chair mat was a replacement for a previously purchased staples mat. I thought it was identical to the old one but it seems to be slightly thinner than the old one. I am concerned that it might wear out sooner. we'll see how it performs.

I ordered these for others in the office and actually have commercial carpet. These seem to work okay with that carpet. I have an older version of the same mat and it still doesn't roll as well as expected so I was pleasantly surprised that these roll so well. But they do seem a little thin.
