Good for low pile carpets...works nicely

it is for lighter usage...but I use a rolling office chair on lower pile carpeting and it works great. It could be thicker because it does indent when your chair rollers stay in one place for awhile...but does seem to rebound after a time. Compared to the other expensive choices I think this is a great bargain. If it wears out I could by 3 for the price of the next price range at Staples.

After reading reviews for this mat I hesitated before buying. Then I found reviews of more expensive mats had the same poor reviews. I guess people are buying it for the wrong applications...this is for a low-pile carpet...not wood floors or heavy-pile carpets. I expect to get years of use from this product since I purchased it for the proper application So-far so-good.

Even on a flat pile office carpet this mat was too soft. Dents would form where my chair had sat even if I wasn't sitting in it at the time. I chose to exchange this for a firmer better quality and slightly larger version.

I use this to protect my carpet at my computer desk. It seems to be working fin.

This chairmat is used weekdays and holds up well for it's heavy use. It doesn't get noticed which is how this type of product should work! We always buy them again when they eventually wear out but it takes a long time!
