Very thin mat

Very flimsy mat. It would work great on surfaces without any carpet at all. Our low-pile carpeting makes the chairs sink in and put grooves in the mat. It's just a matter of time before the chair rollers break through.

Been using for a few weeks only but so far it's working fine. Slides a little on my hard wood floor but not so much. Good product reasonable price.

You get what you pay for

Face it. You get what you pay for. When delivered I was actually kind of impressed with the construction. It looks thick enough and it does a good job at not moving around. However after a week of using it though I can see the indentations and creases forming. If I get 6 months out of it I'll be lucky. For now it is protecting new low-pile carpeting but I will make a more sizeable investment in a higher quality product the next time.

I've started replacing all of our chair mats with this one because it can handle the weight and constant pressure from even the heaviest user. We bought the thinner and less expensive chair mats that were made for the type of carpet in our office and they would crack and crumble within weeks especially for the bigger men in the office. I've purchased 7 of these and haven't had any complaints since I bought the first one almost 2 years ago. The initial cost seems high but I am no longer replacing the same chair mats every couple of months.
